As usual, Friday will be reserved for research and sharing. Saturday’s schedule will include our annual business meeting plus more research and sharing.
Friday evening we will travel by bus to Bessingers Legendary BBQ. Dinner per person will be $25 each. Reservation and payment for the dinner should be to Helen by September 1. If you miss the September 1 deadline, please contact Helen to inquire about availability. If you plan to attend the dinner, mail a check for $25.00 (per person) made out to the CFA to:

Whether or not you are attending the dinner, please complete and mail the registration form, to Helen’s address above, so we can have an accurate headcount for the meeting. Remember, you need to register for the meeting AND make a hotel reservation.
CFA Policy allows each member to bring one traveling companion who will have full access to the CFA Library and resources during the meeting. Additional family members and guests are welcome to attend any event for which the CFA member makes reservations and pays for their guests.
Walk-ins (who are not a guest of an active member) will be welcomed upon payment of a $20 fee, which includes a one-year complimentary membership in The Chandler Family Association and three issues of the CFA Newsletter. Walk-ins will not be able to attend the Friday night dinner, which requires pre-payment and a dinner reservation.
To make a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn with our special CFA rate, call the hotel reservation desk at 843-606-4600 and be sure to mention The Chandler Family Association. The deadline to make a hotel reservation and take advantage of our special meeting rate is August 14.
Our CFA room rate for Thursday is $129.00/night + tax, for a total of $147.95. Our CFA room rate for Friday and Saturday will be $159.00/night + tax, for a total of $181.85/night. This is higher than our usual hotel rate but was the best deal for the Charleston area.
